This is the legal shape of the same deal described on Community Rules and Safety & Moderation. Where a number appears on both, it is the same number.
Who this is for
You must be 18 or older to hold an account on everydayugc, as either a creator or a brand. Creating an account means you have read this, the community rules, and can agree to both.
The deal
A brand funds the agreed flat fee into escrow before a creator starts filming. Pay based on views is not held in advance: it is charged to the brand when the video settles, up to the ceiling named in the brief. Rate, deliverables and deadline snapshot at the moment of hire and cannot be revised down afterward.
A brand has seven days to review a submitted deliverable. If it does not respond in that window, the work counts as accepted and pays — silence is not a way to avoid paying.
How the flat fee is held, and its limit:the flat fee is paid by the brand into escrow before the creator films, and it is released to the creator when the work is approved — or automatically if the brand lets the review window run out. It is not a promise by us to pay in the brand’s place: everydayugc does not advance its own money on a booking, and the fee a brand has not funded is not owed by us.
Once funded, that fee can be withheld in two situations, both of which you are told about: the paid post is taken down, or the same video was delivered on another booking. In either case the brand may decline that payment with a written reason, the creator gets to answer it, and a person here decides if the two cannot agree.
View-based pay is not guaranteed, because it is not held in advance. We charge the brand when the video settles; if that charge fails, the amount stays owed by the brand and not by us, and it stays visible and payable rather than being written off. We tell the creator when a charge does not go through rather than leaving it pending on their page. While a brand has settled work it has not paid for and has not disputed, it cannot publish new campaigns or book new creators.
Performance, fraud and payouts
Performance pay releases against view counts collected daily from the live post, not a screenshot either side uploaded. Every tracked video is checked for purchased engagement, and what that check finds is shown to the brand and to the creator, in the same words, before the payment is released.
That check is advice, not a decision. It does not withhold money on its own: the payable view count is the one the brand and the creator agree on, and the brand may pay on a higher count than we could evidence. Buying views remains a breach of the community rules, and we act on breaches through the enforcement steps above, which a person decides.
A payout is only ever held for a specific stated reason, and you are told which one. If a brand declines a payment and you contest it, that dispute resolves within 30 days. Other holds — a post that came down, the same video delivered twice, an account we could not match — do not run on a clock, because releasing them on a timer would mean paying for a post that is not there or paying one video twice. They are reviewed by a person, and you can ask us where yours stands at any time.
Marketplace money — a brand funding a job, the escrow hold, and the creator payout, including creator identity verification — runs through Whop for Platforms. Brand subscription billing runs through Stripe. We remain the merchant of record for everydayugc transactions. For tax forms: W-8 for creators outside the US is collected in our app; 1099 for creators inside the US is handled by Whop.
Keep the deal here
Do not take a brand or creator you met on everydayugc off-platform for the same work. Off-platform there is no escrow holding the fee, no verified-view record, and nothing that stops a brand booking more work while it owes you for the last.
We enforce this through the steps above — a warning, then suspension, then removal — decided by a person. Contact details shared in campaign copy and chat are moderated for the same reason.

everydayugc is provided as-is. We work to keep escrow, payouts and the fraud checks described here running correctly, but we do not guarantee the platform is uninterrupted or error-free, and our liability for a failure of the platform itself is limited to the amount actually held in escrow for the specific job affected, or payable on it — and note that since view-based pay is not held in advance, the first of those is the flat fee alone.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date below rather than edited silently.
